Dr. Amanda (Mandy) Lim

Dr. Lim was raised in Calgary and is excited to be setting up her practice in her home community. She obtained her Bachelor's of Science, Medical Degree, and completed her residency training in Family Medicine here in Calgary. She is available in clinic on Tuesdays and Fridays. She is passionate about patient education, advocacy, and holistic, patient-centered care. Her areas of interest include mental health, caring for families with an interpersonal focus, women's health, and minor procedures. When she isn't in clinic, you can find her with her husband and young children, making music, dabbling in photography, crafting or tossing a Frisbee.

Dr. Lim currently works in a part-time capacity so her practice will be continue to be cooperatively, capably and compassionately co-managed by Dr. Amanda Ho.

As of November 27, 2023, Dr. Lim will be away on medical leave until February 2024.

Dr. Clara Cho

We are excited to be welcoming Dr. Cho to our practice starting in May 2021.

Dr. Cho (rhymes with go) grew up in Calgary and was an occupational therapist in her previous (career) life. She enjoyed her work as an OT even though her friends and family thought she only helped other people find jobs. Her passion for preventive care led her back to the University of Alberta in Edmonton for her MD. She then returned to her hometown to complete her Family Medicine residency at the University of Calgary.

What Dr. Cho values most about Family Medicine are the relationships and trust built over time with patients and their families. She enjoys teaching people about their own health. Outside of clinic, she loves spending time with her family, baking, reading and exploring the outdoors. Dr. Cho is available in clinic on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. She speaks English and you can test her Cantonese too.

Dr. Lawrence Ko

Dr. Ko was born in Hong Kong and moved to Toronto at some point in time (he's somewhat senile and can't remember). He became a pharmacist because there were good looking classmates (his wife was in the same class - it worked). Then he grew up and became a doctor because he had nothing better to do. He studied oncology but had difficulty spelling all the long chemo drug names and his wife complained that he glowed in the dark from radiation exposure. He became a family doctor so he can doctor his family. Dr. Ko brings a wide breadth of knowledge and expertise to his practice and is well known by his patients as being kind but frank, compassionate, practical and down-to-earth (Ed. - Dr. Ko also paid a lot of money to put the last sentence in.) He is available in clinic five days a week but there's no guarantee if he's awake when he sees patients.
